Marketing brilliance.

Sony Online Entertainment has partnered with Pizza Hut to integrate (seriously!) ordering pizza into EverQuest II. Thanks to some very clever marketing, you can order a pizza while in the game by simply typing "/pizza". This is pure marketing brilliance...everyone knows hardcore EQ fans never want to see the light of day, so why not embrace it?

Other commands coming soon:

  • /beer
  • /twinkie
  • /porn
  • /hooker
  • /tax return
It's only a matter of time...

Can you deduct /hooker from /tax return?

I was disappointed that they didn't go all the way with this, and have the pizza ordering built into the game's UI/menu system, billing your account credit card for the order (and tip optionally). Time for some Blizzard innovation?

SOE's said that future deals like this may incorporate auto-billing. That'd be crazy.
