Wow, talk about unexpected: Richard Biggs has passed away. From Dark Horizons:
RIP Richard Biggs: Best known for ‘Doctor’ roles on “Days of Our Lives” and “Babylon 5″, actor Richard Biggs died unexpectantly Saturday morning of what appears to be either an aneurysm or a massive stroke. He brought a real warmth and air of believability to Dr. Franklin on Babylon 5. He will be missed.

This is really sad news - I’m not really a sci-fi geek by any stretch of the imagination, but became a serious fan of Babylon 5’s storytelling and thoughtfulness, and Richard Biggs was an integral part of that. *sigh*.
